Visit Lakshadweep
Ecotourism
Not all of the islands of Lakshadweep are inhabited, and very few allow tourism and visitors. Islands that do allow tourists often require a permit. Both domestic and foriegn tourists visit Lakshadweep.

While unmanaged tourism can damage the coral reefs of Lakshadweep, regulated tourism can provide money towards conservation and benefit the economy greatly! Tourists can visit the island of Kavaratti, which is the most populated and provides amenities as well as site-seeing for visitors. A main attraction is the Kavaratti Aquarium, which contains many local species (Ministry).
